PHOENIX

I am a phoenix,

Breaking out of my cage,

There is a fire burning in my heart,

My wings are aflame.

Every time I die,

I am reborn.

I will rise above

The ground,

And soar through the clouds.

I’ll claim all my kingdoms

Chase every dream

Resolve all my demons

And let out a scream

I feel it burn when I’ m

Knocked down but,

I’ll let the fire be my crown.

Watch me take control,

For this, in the world,
