Perfect We
Perfect We
It’s just floating letters on white canvas for you,
But for me it’s cracks on my soul which grew
‘Can it be happier’ you asked after reading mine,
‘I might not bring happiness’ my eyes told with a shine
Maybe it’s easy to stand again after facing the storm,
But now this roof of solitude is my new home
I don’t bribe with my destiny to make me feel good,
Leave me alone and I’ll never bother you with my mood
I just need a pen and my canvas to show who I am,
Maybe I’m depressed and negative but it’s who I am
So for the last time, I ask to leave me on my own,
Now you don’t have to pay your debt of kindness because now it’s all gone
You might think I’m being rude here where you just want to uplift me,
But You are just forcing me to be happy because you want perfect we
