Paradox Of Life

Paradox Of Life

At one end, I see a man drenched in wealth,

On the other end, an old man with deteriorated health.

At one end, I see a lady wearing sumptuous clothes,

On the other end, a girl with tattered clothes.

At one end, happiness knows no bounds,

On the other end, misery's grip astounds.

At one end, a guy finds bliss in solitude's embrace,

On the other end, a man builds social fortitude with grace.

At one end, haunted by ghosts that haunt the night,

On the other end, protected by a divine force, shining bright.

At one end, the unforgiving massacre takes its toll,

On the other end, people truly care with heart and soul.

At one end, people struggle to find their daily food,

On the other end, food is wasted, a regrettable interlude.

At one end, people embody lethargy personified,

On the other end, hard work is personified, fortified.

At one end, a winning team basks in blissful delight,

On the other end, a losing team copes with the plight.

At one end, groups indulge in idle gossip's maze,

On the other end, souls worship, seeking higher ways.

At one end, bribes flow in a corrupt stream,

On the other end, honesty is the golden gleam.

At one end, people sacrifice their personal desires,

On the other end, selfish desires stoke the fires.

At one end, a man cares for the elderly, a selfless role,

On the other end, a man exhibits cruelty, taking a heavy toll.

Phew! This is the paradox of life, so diverse,

Reflecting contrasting emotions, our universe.
