Paper and me

Paper holds so much of value in my life 

Without it, I wonder how will ever survive

Since it is not an ordinary piece of paper 

But undoubtedly my life shaper

Read and write on this sheet of black and white

Was blessed when Goddess Saraswati shone her light

The valuable degree on paper, helped me in my career  

Rose to the ladder of success, without any barrier

 I use a paper for writing thoughts for self-reflection 

This gives me contentment and immense satisfaction

When there is chaos and thoughts are troubling 

 I just pick up a paper and pen and do the scribbling 

Believe me, like a Bestie, it takes away all my troubles 

Extends solace, when life offer me struggles 

A perfect way for giving space for CATHARSIS

That is an outlet for emotions when one is under stress

I need a paper for my Art therapy class 

Whether I am drawing scenery or flowers in a vase

When I wish to read motivational story or a verse

Turning the page is such a satisfying experience

 Holding a book is like you are cuddling your own baby

An awesome treat if ever you are feeling shaky 

Because of this paper, my life is so colourful

Indeed, it is so much beautiful
