Painting In Red
Painting In Red
War and war where cometh peace?
Painting in red
On a canvas of flesh,
Burning bodies, trembling souls
With guns of desire,
We set on an immortal fire.
Who is this war to impress?
In times where lives matter so less,
Our warriors protecting our fates
While stepping closer to their own end...
They kill not for the hatred of what lies in front
They kill for the love of what they have abandoned...
Slogans of bravery, badg
es of honor
What's their worth without their owner?
With bridges of trust on foundations of compromise
Could this war be settled?
“No,” says the other and “No,” say we...
But remember we must that there's not any war that ends all wars
There's only death that buries the dead.
As cries of justice echo everywhere,
With not a single warrior to spare.
Because war and war where is peace?
One canvas gets filled,
Another begins...
