Ouroboros, Unleashed!
Ouroboros, Unleashed!
(Old worlds unborn, and new worlds undead,
Shall meet in the twilight belly
Of the steel Ouroboros.)
Do not speak to me
Of glories long past:
All the glitz and glitter,
And the clutter of
Atavistic memories,
Singing of the ultimate
Thingness of existence. For
Atoms of our sensibilities, diffracted,
Entangled in a plasmodium
Of blood and lymph and bones, are
Wrapped up in the vast
Spaces between the innermost
Core and the rim. The limitless
Power of being, shattered, ripped
With metallic shreds of a future
Annihilated. What lies behind,
Is an ocean of detritus
From an inverted time;
(A world reborn and a world ended,
Will see us in the innards
Of the severed Ouroboros.)
