Our Mother Earth

Our Earth nurtures us

Like all our mothers do

Their feelings similar

But their way are different too

She gives away whatever she has a

Like all our mothers do

Whether it is silver gold

Or the most precious diamond too

She gives her love in green colour

Just sit in her lap once

And you'll say that's true

But we human's have caused

A lot of destruction of her.

And today she is sick

So let's pledge to save and cure her

In each and every action we do

By walking short distances

And practicing the 3R's

By reducing the use of petrol cars.

By planting more trees

And saving water

By using clothe bags

And reducing plastic bottles.

The resources of our mother are

Running out because of our highly increasing demands

We need to understand how important is

The conservation of forests mountains and grasslands.
