One-sided Friendship

Once I met a beautiful girl,

Dear readers! She is not less than a pearl;

I just connected her so well 

that we became a family, 

But that was all not more than a fantasy;

We became best friend,

Oh! I was in heaven,

But what happened that 

the relationship came to an end;

It was too late till I could understand,

I gave my best to make things work,

I communicated which resulted in outburst..

Everything went out of my hand,

But soon I realized that 

I am trying to grow crops on a barren land;

I thought to start a fresh,

But for her, it was too late,

Officially everything was fine,

But inside her she denied;

And I just followed my heart's voice,

I respected her choice;

I still love her unconditionally,

One-sided probably.
