One Last Time
One Last Time
When times were rough
She kept me Strong
In a world of rights
We loved doing wrongs
To watch Her smile
I would wait for hours
I would walk that mile
And shower her with flowers
My love was a tad complicated
In her thoughts I was captivated
I had assured it'll always be there
It's just Her, my eyes will stare
Twisted was the fate & then came a day,
Parting was certain, much to my dismay
Gone were those dreams, gone were those moments
Time had come now for the atonement
Tears in her eyes, I could not bear
Laid on a bed, paralysed, I could only stare
I knew now, my time had come
ten Years in coma, I was gonna succumb
Knew she'd never leave but here I was
Parting with her, for now & forever
I ached to talk & I ached to weep
Nothing i could do as the ECG beeped
In the final moment I raised my hand,
death came to me fine and bland
Then there was a bright white light,
& in her hands I ended my fight!
