Ode To The Sky
Ode To The Sky
Beloved,
You seem to be a little more caliginous this eventide
Did the stars abandon you or were you jilted by the moon?
Did the orbs make their way to a reunion and leave you forlorn?
But that's competent for I come from a murkier dwelling
I wear a grotesque mask of pretense and dwell in an abode of constant chaos
Howbeit, I am inordinately jaded tonight and I seek serenity in you.
Won't you lend me some of your tranquility?
Beloved,
You're the home when there's no home and hope when I lack hope
So I near you this night when you're at your murkiest and I am at mine
Together we can be each other's solace.
