You were the color of my life

         That made it beautiful ever

         That encouraged me at every instant

         That introduced me to my inner self

         That made me my best ever

  But on this day,

         The festival of colors,

         The color of my life is missing

         My enthusiasm and energy are missing

O Dear,

         You were a rainbow

         In the sky of my life

  But I was a fool

         Who never understood the fact

         That rainbow is temporary

  But I still wait forever

         To once again see that rainbow

         And fill my life with colour 

         At least for the shortest possible time
