NOTHING
NOTHING
The yellowish red night lamp,
The soft and cosy pillow.
The night chirps in through the window.
The vapour from the teacup
Rises and vanishes in the air.
The mind talks to the heart
About nothing so important.
Time flows without a reason.
The aroma of the past refuses to return.
On the table, the perfumes wait.
The dogs bark for nothing.
Life doesn't expect anything.
The mind talks to the heart
About nothing so important.
The music sounds good,
But just for a while.
The black loaded bag waits for tomorrow.
The fan keeps moving to relax.
The weather hints at the arrival of autumn.
The flowers appear in the brain
Without the fragrance.
The brain searches for words
To replace everything around.
The perfume, the aroma, and the time
Become necklaces of words.
There is nothing up,
There is nothing down.
Tomorrow awaits another necklace -
The insipid world of fancy dull words.
The mind talks to the heart
About nothing so important.
It's not so bad, though tasteless.
The clock blinks to remind a good sleep.
Out there the night sparkles with hope.
The mind talks to the heart
About nothing so important.
