Night And The Light
Night And The Light
Shadows fall beneath the earth,
When the last ray of sunlight departs,
This fine evening covers the earth
In a gentle veil of darkness
As all the colours change, from a bright sunny shade
To an inviting mix of pink, black and blue,
Great warm colours now soften,
Losing their proud glow .
Ay, fast day trembling at the sight of the silver plate -
When will your warm arms bend in again,
Pulling the night's thick armor
that shades the
world of its joyous muse?
Though there is
A sinful peace
In the dark
In the quiet
In the moonlight
Of the night-
It's a bliss
An unconscious one
A peaceful one
Which unlike the daylight,
Hides mysteries,
And it tells fancy stories.
To see in its light,
Your sight;
has to be more than just right,
To see through the cloudy curtains,
You need to honest on the inside.
