Neverland

Neverland

2 mins
407

Clear sky, with storms in my heart

Please tell me from where should I start?

Should I start with mom's scoldings

For my scratched knee and dirt clings

Or the place where I used to play

my favourite

Ring-a-ring-a-ring?

Should I tell you how I made my first friend?

But promise me you won't ask

if he's the reason what made me

got it all penned!

Deal?

Or...

Should I start with those "bat-ball" matches

That I could never win but didn't lose either

Or about that hype that I always got

Being the only girl in the team

who was popular for all this misdemeanour.

Should I tell you about my first b'day party

With no guests but only friends

Or about how they cried out for their parents

To stay till the end....

(LoL it was embarrassing)

Should I reveal one of my greatest secrets

That is, the name of my first crush!

Or

how hard I kicked him

Instead of giving him a blush....

(regrets hit harder)

Should I start with my School Canteen

That had nothing but everything

Or with those puff patties

that helped to survive those boring lectures

I'm not sure if they had nicotine!

Should I start with my School Farewell

what made me believe in meteor shower

Or about my first proposal from a 5yr old boy

who asked me out with a flower

(I couldn't say No)

I really don't know from where should I start

Should I start with

those tantrums, drums or rums?

I'm now in the drought,

just soaked with thoughts

Those hours that just slipped like dust

Couldn't quench my thirst

And hopes still drip over

to just have a magic wand

That could lead me again

to my Neverland...
