Myself And The Deep Blue Sea

I was sandwiched between two basic elements of nature,

The sea and the sky.

I was sitting at the seashore,

Wondering the majesty of the sea, which stretched kilometres.

The sky was not less than the sea, both complemented each other.

Moreover, the love I have for him and him are the same as that of the sea and the sky.

I was desperate as the tides in the sea,

The tides and myself raised up every time to reach the destiny.

To the tide it is sky,

To me it is him.

The similarity is we both end up in vain.

The actual reality is we both could never even get near our destiny.

Life sometimes can be too tough,

It throws the reality in our face.

At times, the emotional trauma is too high,

I couldn't compress all those emotions within me,

The result is I broke out into tears.

The sea behaves exactly the same way as I did,

But in it's own style as Tsunami.

It rises abruptly with a desire to reach the sky.

The sea as tsunami ended up the lives of many people,

Who believed the sea for their daily livelihood.

I was no less then the sea,

I destroyed my relationship with the people around me,

Just because I was angry at my inability to show my love to him.

The people who believed the sea did not have hatred towards the sea that engulfed their brothers and sisters,

They returned to it again with a hope.

Though, I have been infuriated for a ton of silly reasons,

The people who loved me did not leave my side.

The sea and me are dumbbells,

We both tried for the thing that could never be our's.
