My sketch

I draw my sketch every morning 

And by the time it is evening,

It turns into a dark shade with freckles blooming!

The morning glow, after a peaceful night,

When the mind is fresh after sleeping right,

There is hope in the eyes for a better new day

Cheeks are blushing with love expected,

While my ears await some good news at the gate!

And the smile on my lips has so much to say

I am picture perfect to kickoff the day!

By dusk,this sketch has lost its charm,

As the weary day passes on

The grudge and the regrets of the happenings along,

Fade the beauty of my sketch of dawn

Wrinkled and grumpy I become,

Carrying all the vices in my heart I long

For a beautiful face oh, I wish I was born,

With grace and poise but I forget,

We are all born beautiful and we are the artists of our own sketch,

So sing a song or dance along and keep the love of the dawn awake,

Let not duties wear your smile away,

Even if things don't happen just your way,

As we alone are responsible to keep our morning sketch from fading away!
