My Mistakes Are For You

I was exhausted,

I was tired,

I was bearing the burden,

Of everything in my mind.

My own actions were

Making me hollow.

They were consuming me,

In deep sorrow.

Amidst all the joy and success,

I had so much emptiness and sadness.

I wasn’t equipped to,

Even recognize my illness.

Now I'm going to surrender

And confront my feelings.

This will definitely take me,

On the path of healing.

Finally, I'm not,

Ashamed of my pain.

I'm accepting myself,

As I am.

My journey of healing,

Helped me survive.

Self-help is working,

To keep me alive.

There were mistakes,

I take responsibility for.

My self-confidence was,

Based on what others thought.

Now my need for others'

Approval has changed.

Slowly I'm learning,

To love myself.

I started realizing,

I stopped apologizing,

I do sit and breath.

I started myself

Engaging with lil things.

I'm relaxed,

I'm confident,

Now I'm not someone

Who has regrets in life.
