My memorable visit

My memorable visit,

A blank page,

He left in between the pages of his diary!

For my heart to rest in,

Before turning to the final chapter 

Of our love story .

Deep breathe with eyes closed,

He always said,

Whenever hearts 

longed to memories.

And today, at 80,

Broken and a victim of egos,

I watch your funeral,

Through the television,

With my grand children.

Tears I behold,

And walk to my rack,

Turn to the blank page once again,

With shaky hands

And with wrinkled eyes.

I turn onto the blank page,

Hoping, book would reveal,

The secret what you had on your mind ,

when you left the page blank!
