My Love
My Love
I am here and you are there,
In between your absence and my longing, swings my life.
Sometimes here, and sometimes there,
I find you somewhere
Life has been unknown, but your presence in my heart has been piquantly strong…..
I don’t know who you are; my heart is too faint to look for.
In the beginning and in the end, I had been searching for you.
What has kept you so far, my heart is still there waiting for
I know, you exist, you always will
My heart is weak not fake..
On some sunny morning, I will be there
Sitting along you,
Talking about eclectic things,
Seeking your point of view, and cherishing those lovely moments with you.
I don’t want you to be immensely handsome, to attract thousands of eyes,
I want your soul to be profound, that I would keep, not for this lifetime,
But for every life coming forth.
I don’t want you to be too rich, I want your integrity intact,
Your compassion for life.
I want you not because I want you, I want you to grow with you,
Both in intellect and in age.
So that someday when we will be too old to eat and drink,
I will talk to you about the universe and energies,
Sitting on a swing , and holding you softly with my head on your shoulder.
So shall we laugh over life, death, and love.
I want that eternal love for you,
I want that eternal love for me.
So, Some day we will meet, somewhere somehow, on a sunny day;
In the shade of trees, I looking at you and you looking at me…
Like two forgotten eternal lovers, waking up from cosmic amnesia.
