Mother - My Friend
Mother - My Friend
In the womb in you,
I budded and flowered.
The kicks of my legs
Made you awake.
The agony paved for joy,
I rested in your nest.
On your tender breast,
Slept I as your child.
With the caring arms, you-
Saved me from the ghosts.
My goddess was you
As I was taught anew.
In the ocean of your care,
I flowered, my mother!
You fed me when I'm weak,
And thus made me strong.
Honey was poured by words,
As you cared me day and night.
All my quarrels and trifles ended
By the touch of your hands.
You stepped up with care
And you became my mother.
