Moon
Moon
Lonely little,
Dazzling white,
Moon, it is so bright.
Warming the hearts,
Of living and almighty,
Moon, it is so kind.
Her view just touches the inside eye,
Her appearance makes me sigh, "oh my!",
Her beauty and might no one can mar,
Moon, it is so angelic and mighty,
She is the knight of the sky,
In her silvery armour made by sun.
Yet she fades at dawn,
Even though she is up there,
Somewhere,
And then that makes me want to see her again,
That yearning rises in me,
As night comes and she meets me,
And shines above everyone else,
Moon, it is so radiant.
High above in the sky,
Shimmering and glimmering with all her might,
Changes her shape usually,
Makes more and more divine,
Moon, it is so kind.
