To cover its mouth

From the deadly virus

It has its hands

Tied behind the back

And legs rooted to the ground.

Taken hostage by nature

For the atrocities

Carried over many many years.

It had an blindfold before

Covering the eyes

From the degradation around

Of natural environs

In the deep sea

And the highest mountain

The hands and legs also

Have caused so many imprints

That caused

Unsurmountable damage and destruction

To mother earth.

Payback time!

Staying put

Until nature recovers

Its balance
