Mask
Mask
A face on face,
or a mask on a mask,
The virus is a pretense,
The real disease is us.
A carved up smile,
On a layer of chalk,
trying to hide bile,
and our inner muck.
Corona will go,
(But) with pretense we're stuck.
Our civilization groans,
choking on lies and distrust.
We are killing this system,
By looking away from its roots.
In name of glory and fame,
We've sold ourselves as goods.
We play judge and jury,
on everybody we look (at).
we rant with wild fury,
about anything not matching our book.
BUt our blood thirsty tusks,
Just hate to be judged.
(so) we wear the masks
to hide from the shards.
Let's stop this cycle,
of being judge and judged.
Its not a tuple,
lets break it down, fast!
Let's cut the bullshit,
and tear down the masks.
let's just enjoy, grab a sit
and take a sip from life's flask.
