Lovers Don't Cross Stars

Three years ago I crossed path with a stranger,

unintentionally.

I had no desire to start a journey,

nor I had any destination.

I think it was my destiny,

no...

It was my foolishness.

never mind,

it was just another turn on that road.

Nothing special about it except 

now that I look back,

it's the epicentre of my problems.

It was where I met her.

Our paths crossed,

for a second only.

But that second changed my codons.

She became my journey, she became

my destination.

Most people call the journey love,

but I call it bait.

Most people call the destination 

Tryst,

but I call it is trap.

I hope that turn had a sign which read

'lovers don't cross the stars.'

I think it had but I ignored it.
