The morning sunshine

it defines my role

when I get up from the bed

I am virtually led by her

 

I have said it often

I am driven by the passion

the passion for writing poetry

she always remains by my side and helps cleverly 

 

What do I dream and write?

I don't know but she ignites

refreshes my memory and delights

I put my pen on paper and inscribe

 

no kiss on the forehead or on the lips

but on the hands that keep on 

writing a poem with a difference

the large following draw an inference 

 

my poetry, my thoughts

my attention is always caught 

I seek reference from the soul

and smell nothing foul 

 

"love and peace" reminds me of my duty

it is a commitment to an almighty 

I shall work for humanity

I speak for and with full honesty
