The day, when you saw your name

For the first time,

On the computer screen, or, 

In the newspaper, was the most memorable day of your life, 

Which ended of all your strife.

You became an officer,

Or a clerk, or a teacher,

That didn't matter at all.

We call it a Red Letter Day,

A matter of pride and display.

Now you are no more a black sheep,

You have topped, and reached the steep,

Of your society, of your relatives,

It seems to me.

We are waiting for our Red Letter Day,

They are waiting for their Red Letter Day,

Our waiting will come to an end, some day!
