Love Is In The Air

Love Is In The Air

It started someday I don't know how but is that love or attraction somehow!

I looked at her dancing on the floor, smiling and singing she looked so pure.

My good luck when she came near me, I thought to myself, Is she the one!

I felt shy hesitant to try but the voice inside says its the right time.

Decided to talk I went to her and asked her if we can dance!

She smiled at me and nodded her head and the moment started to freeze.

While dancing together hands in hands I asked what is your name!

She replied with a hearty smile, said what's there in the name.

When I felt her comfort and ease with me, I told her you are my love at first sight!

She laughed aloud, leaned towards me and said what's there in sight !!

Surprised by her replies, I proposed to her and said I love you!

She again laughed and replied what's there in love !!

I explained to her about my love and asked her what she feels!

She kept smiling, dancing and singing but didn't reveal.

Then music went down and we sat down, I asked her what she feels!

I asked her name, I asked her for love but then she went numb.

Then I saw tears in her eyes and I felt like a dumb!

Felt sorry I asked her, didn't meant to hurt feelings.

I just expressed my love for you which spread in me like healing.

Not sure what sight is, don't know what my name is, she replied!

Can't see from my childhood so people called me blind,

Don't know what is love as I never felt of any kind.

I hold her hands and told her that I love her even more!

No matter of sight, no matter of name but now love is in the air for sure.

I hope to take care, I hope to be with you till the last breath of my life!

So I name you as Hope and ask you to be my wife.

Even a single minute of my life without you, I am not going to spare!

Because now Love is in the air, Love is in the air, Love is in the air.
