Look And You Will See

Look around and you will see death is not the end,

For you need not grieve, for life begins and ends, life is an illusion.

Those who die take rebirth, this is told in our great texts of yore,

Birth, death, then rebirth, the cycle of life, only the body is left behind.

For the body is a shell that shelters the soul.

And the soul does not die but leaves the body.

Seeking another body with life, to continue rebirth.

We grieve for we miss the dead, he is no more a part of our life,

We can reconcile with anything, but death.

So whatever is in the texts of yore, we are humans.

And as humans, we will grieve, for one who is dead.

For though life is infinite, eternal, and never ending.

We have a life that one day will end in death.
