Loner Plants
Loner Plants
I have empty plants in a pot
In my garden, they are placed
Sand and hand is what they need
On emptiness they feed
Tears they love
Water they hate
For them, growth is a lie
And survival is to die
Against the sunlight, they move
They kill the other saplings
Can't separate them from soil
Around your body, they coil
Darkness for photosynthesis
Cut to double the growth
Less of the climber, more of creeper
Thorns penetrating your skin, going deeper
You find hope
They find you
Hope is killed
Their destiny is fulfilled
You burn to ashes
They grow on you
They suck your soul
Like a small living black hole
I stay with them all-day
They have a different vibe
Loner plants are called
Inside my brain they are walled
