Lock-down

March 11th was the day when our final exams came our way, 

March 12th was the point in time where the nasty virus ruined my day. 

A few days passed and it was all okay, 

But then the virus started to spread like a plague spray. 

We all children miss our school, 

which is not very cool. 

Staying at home is a complete bore, 

And I also got to do so many chores. 

I started following a daily routine chart, 

which made my lockdown life full of art. 

I cook and bake with my mom, play and garden with my Dad, 

It makes all three of our minds feel rad. 

Board games give us a lot of enjoyment, 

Music and movies help us live and are at the moment. 

Missing friends and teachers make us feel isolated,

But online learning is the one which keeps us united. 

This COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented, 

It makes us learn new things to be invented... 

This year 2020, has been weird, 

By the time this is done, let us hope that the virus has torn.
