LIFE OF STRAY CATS

LIFE OF STRAY CATS

In those innocent eyes,

Hide thousands of unspoken words,

Untouched by humanity,

Unnoticed by kindness.

They roam door to door on the streets,

Sometimes on the roads,

 In search of food,

Abandoned by a simple touch of sympathy.

They are the brave souls,

Who know the tricks how to catch a mouse,

Even without practicing any hunting skills.

The mother cats are affectionate,

They struggle day and night,

To eat those stale foods from the dustbin,

And afford a comfortable life to the kittens.

How heartbreaking it is to notice the cruelty

Of

humans when they throw stones

At those beautiful dolls!

If only they could offer a piece of bread

Or small amount of rice

 To satisfy their hunger.

If only humans could put a bucket of water

Inside their courtyard or behind their houses

To quench their thirst.

Oh, human!

Whether adopt or not,

Please don't hurt these beautiful

innocent souls.

Supply them some food when they need,

Show them affection,

Be humble and kind.
