LIFE OF RIVER
LIFE OF RIVER
Once upon a time, I use to be so small
Flowing through the mountains, And
those were pretty tall.
I still remember to this day, How I
Frantically used to sway.
And when I started going down,
The pressure's setting me a frown
Bumping on the greeny ground,
Finally, a place to clam living beings thriving here,
All that makes this day so fair
Deer are grazing, birds are bathing,
Such a surprising thing this was!
So close to me was a pond,
Oh I wonder what's beyond
Dwelling there a cliff appeared,
Gently falling onward I steered
Little ducks are floating by,
Foxes moving slow and sly.
I was getting even farther,
Connecting rivers making us larger.
The stream was getting pretty strong,
Unity moving us along
Now it's time for us to deposit.
Into the ocean we lob,
And finally__ it's the end of the voyage
