Let It Fly

I want to flap my wings and fly high,

The emotions which are not valued should not make me cry,

The pain I have hidden causes sadness and agony,

I want to get rid of it and smile.

For how long I have to be enslaved,

In the prison of mistakes and shame.

I want to forget and forgive,

The past deeds,

But will never allow my heart and mind,

To stay awake in sorrow and dejection.

I want to be most important for myself,

Reach above in the sky,

And feel the air on my skin with no regret,

Every turn I take, every move I make

I want to welcome it only for myself.
