Journey Within

The bird in me always,

Flapped it's wings to fly high.

My feet walked on the roads

Taken by others.

The caged bird looked out to,

Find a space.

While my eyes followed the,

Dreams seen by others.

Life is a reflection of social bonding,

And one day when the bird grew old,

It wished to rest.

But my heartbeats struggled to call it back,

It was time for me to reach somewhere,

But the bird denied the journey.
