Is it not funny, how you say you want to die

When all you want is a reason to live,

All you seek is some love, some care, some one who treats you fair, and holds you dear?

How you just want to have someone by your side, someone who 'just feels right', for let's be honest, you have never known how it feels, have you?

Is it not funny how you say you want to be lost

When all you want is to be found, your sleep to be sound, not wanting yet another round of your tired knees falling to the ground from all those miles you have been running, never wanting to get caught up?

How you sit alone in those darkened corners of your room, thinking about all that's missing from your life, all that you could have had, that would have had made you happy... but it's never enough is it? 

Oh dear, how can you say you feel small, when you have always been a part of it all, starting from the spring to the fall?

How can you even think you're nothing when you have the bright moon, the sparkling stars, the dark night and the dancing wind all woven into your soul?

And when they say, you are not worthy of their love, you laugh and tell them, 'You may have the heart of your loved ones, while I have the whole sky above.'
