In a cradle of love

I am scared mama,

I am new at this,

I was just born

I don't know how to fit.

My feet trembles,

my hand fumbles.

But it's alright as long as

you are here with me,

protecting me.

I don't know how to make friends,

I don't know how to tell you what I am feeling,

I have no idea how to understand the meanings.

But I am trying my best,

even though I am jumbling everything I carry.

Hold my hand mama,

I don't know if I can face the world alone.

It's too difficult to be so alone,

facing the unknowns.

Mama, tell me you will be with me always?

Never leave and make me laugh and smile.

Your hugs, your comforts.

Your sweet smell and addicting words.

I know I am not the best

And I know I could be the worst

But I will try to be better,

I will try to make you proud.

Because mama,

You loved as if you could not survive without.

And so I wish to do the same,

I wish to love as if I could die without.

I wish to give,

even more than I ever got.

I know it would be hard

But I wish to give you my whole heart.

Mama, I didn't notice before,

I was too busy being involved in myself.

I didn't know what you did before.

You sacrificed so much,

Just so I could be safe and happy.

I do not know how to give back,

but I wish I could make you happy.

I do not think I have felt as safe as in your arms.

I know you would never let me come to harm.

I do not know how to express it all,

the gratitude, the comfort

And the warm feeling of love.

But I wish to let to you know,

without you I would never have come so far,

I would never be what I am.

You made me, You taught me how to be human.

You taught me what was right and wrong.

I am a person because you made me all along,

the miracle you did was in more ways than one.

I will nurture you now, so we will be once again what we were

Taking care of each other, nurturing each other's love.
