Romance Others

-IF TOYS COULD SPEAK-

-IF TOYS COULD SPEAK-

The morning began,
And the I was blabbing about the serene skies to the princess.
She listened. I spoke.
Just like Juliet and Romeo.
Like Ron and Hermione —
Two silent souls in one loud world.

Then came a couple.
They searched. They smiled.
And they chose — not Harry…
They chose me.

I was glued to my princess,
But they pulled,
They paid,
And they took,
Took.

“Who care of us,
If our mistress didn’t?”
I thought, heart fraying.

Here, I was invited to a new family,
New memories,
With a little girl of two.

The very first day,
She took me everywhere —
To kitchen,
To park,
To opera.
Second gone,
Minutes went on…

When the little girl wore that pink dress,
I remembered my princess.
When the little girl smiled,
I remembered the smile of my princess.

Here, I met Snow White.
I met Aurora.
But nothing felt like my princess.

Now it’s already a week over.
Today, the little one helped me sit in the corridor.
And there — her father came.
With Harry.

She gasped.
She ran.
She left me there.
And went behind Harry.

I sat there, thinking of my princess —
How could she have treated me?

Someone, somewhere... the clouds,
Heard my pain.
He cried to join me.
He cried,
He screamed,
And he wished I’d meet my princess soon.

But no one returned.
No one picked me up.
I stood there…
Still.
Forever.
