Identity

I may be the flower 

That never blooms,

I may be the bird

That never flies,

I can be wind 

And not blow,

I can be a tree 

With no leaf,

I can be a rainbow

Without shine,

I can be the sun

And not burn,

I can be an animal

But not wild,

I can be a person

And be flawed,

I can be a demon 

With a soft heart,

I can be a woman 

But not a feminist,

I can be a man

And still cry,

I may love

The same sex,

I may kiss 

And not lie,

I can believe 

In whatever I want,

It's me who 

Can decide,

Whether I wanna be me

And not someone else,

After all, It's my own identity 

It's my own pride

No one can take it away from me

No matter how hard they try.
