It is 2:00 am and I should have been sleeping right now,

But all I keep thinking is are you okay there now?

I should have accepted the fact that you left,

But all I could do is blame the god for the reft!

If you were here, we would have been so happy together,

I everyday dream of telling you everything about this new chapter.

A new chapter you know nothing about,

A new chapter which we both fought for!!!

I wish you were here to ask me how my day went,

I wish you were here to bring my life back to the right indent!

Just how you did for 20 years, straight,

Things which I'm feeling right now, I can't collate...

Wish I could have told you a zillion more times how much I love you,

You are my superhero maa, wish I could have been there for you!!!

You went away quietly smiling in peace,

Left me alone, only with memories!

I wish I could have bought some more time for us,

I wish I could have slept without this cuss!
