Abstract Children Stories

I Wish

I Wish

I wish the sun shined every single day for a lifetime in the form of our smiles

I wish there was no such thing as

Guns

Bullets with no eyes

Where kids could just play in the park

And even in their own yard without parents worrying about those bullets with no eyes striking their child like lightning

I wish we lived in a world where we were all just simply perfect

Maybe then we could stop judging each other

I wish there was no hatred

We would all get along

One community

One world

I wish we could all just lean on each other

I wish we could live in a world where

Poverty

Homelessness didn't exist

Maybe if the government would stop building all these condos for millionaires

And start building homes just for the homeless

They wouldn't have to suffer

I wish we lived in a world where it didn't have to cost money just to simply live

I wish we lived in a perfect world

But perfection doesn't exist
