I'm More Of Poetry Than A Poet

I'm a song unsung

A voice unheard

A letter undelivered

A feeling unfelt 

A make unkept

A love unconfessed

Hate unsaid

A heart which wept 

Day and night it kept

I'm a poet dead

Poetry which's read

By those who dealt

And in the end, they felt

How love turned mild

Then wild and wild.

You keep hearing those 

Wounds are whose.

I'm a sun unraised

A moon never praised

A hollow scope

Of future hope.

I'm a smell unfelt

A drawing incomplete

A goal unreached.

I'm an understanding misunderstood.

A message unconveyed

A face unshown.

A fate unread

A wound unhealed 

A me not me anymore. 

I'm more of poetry than a poet.
