I Love You

I love you because you made me smile when I had almost forgotten how to;

I love you because you have a huge and honest heart,

I love you because you have a nurturing nature,

I love you because you always make me feel that I am worth something,

I love you, because you behave like a kid, get angry suddenly,

If you suspect of losing your independence and freedom,

I love you, because you get cool down also,

I love your anger, because I can understand you that

You get angry if someone disturbs you suddenly,

I love you, because you are too logical and get angry if something illogical happens,

I love you the way you are and the everything little detail about you,

I love you because you because nobody has ever given me the love

That you have given me and you are the only one who ever love me this way!

Everytime, I say I love you…

I really try to say so much more,

Than these three words,

I try to say you mean a more to me

Than anyone else in this world

I try to explain you that I need you in my life and

I get lost in wonderful thoughts every time I think about you.

And each time, I whisper ‘I love you’,

I try to remind you that

You are the best thing that has ever happened with me!

I agree, I could not understand your words, before,

But, now I realize you also like me,

So, writing this poem, to accept it publicly that ‘Yes, I love You’,

Which I accepted in front of my mother too,

She said, “My Dear daughter, I like your choice”,

I have struggled a lot in my life and will be able to take it ahead

If you give me a hand, want to stay permanently with you, not just a temporary stay.

If I can fight against all the odds in my life, then why cannot

I stand with you to fight with the truth.

You have tolerated me and my shortcomings,

You have tolerated me and my idiosyncrasies,

You have tolerated me and my mistakes.

You are the pillar and support in my life.

First-time, in my life, I want to feel those moments under the moonlight,

Beside the Sea breeze and inside a big green landscape.

Will you give me a company in all these moments?

Will you marry me?

Please don’t get angry.
