I Don’t Mind

If lies could burn, you’d set our house on fire.

If eyes could cry milk, we’d be bathing in white.

If honey could taste as bitter as your ego, my mouth would forget what sweet tastes like.

And yet, 

Like the smell of rain that lightens and lifts my heavy heart, 

Your scent makes my entire body defy the rules of gravity. 

Like the rushing adrenalin of guilty pleasure that floods my senses to form seas and beyond, 

Your body is an ocean vast enough for an end to never be found, deep enough to drown the sky and dark enough to suffice these weaknesses of mine I so warmly embrace.

You’re bad for me. But I don’t completely mind.
