I Carried A Smile In My Pocket

I Carried A Smile In My Pocket

I carried a smile in my pocket

Not knowing it was mine.

Had a lot to buzz,

Yet felt speechless.

Every time my helplessness swallowed me asking

Why did the storm wash away the tree of which I was a part of.

I tried to gulp the reality,

But soon I vomited it out.

I so desperately wanted me to be happy again

And I couldn't fix this.
