I am strong I am the woman of today

I have stood strong through the storms

Fighting each day with my own people

who keeps pushing me down

Keeps taunting me each day demotivating me

Making me feel why I was born?

I have cried a million times

Felt several times I am not worth

No one cared for me

No one bothered for my rolling tears

I got rejections

I got heart broken

I got depressed

I got hurt by my own people

I have lost many things in life

My dreams were shattered to fulfil dreams of my family

I worked hard to fill their empty stomach

Even being ill pushed myself but never gave up

I patted my own back when I did something good

I never gave up

Today I stand firm on my feet

I am strong I am the woman of today
