I Am A Wani
I Am A Wani
I am a Wani, proud and true,
With roots in trade, yet much to pursue,
A legacy of commerce, rich and grand,
Built by the toil of a steady hand.
Our forefathers walked the path of gold,
In bustling markets, stories told,
Of deals struck fair, of values strong,
In their steps, we now belong.
But Wani is more than wealth and gain,
It’s honour carried through joy and pain,
A name that stands for trust and grace,
In every heart, in every place.
Today, we walk in fields anew,
In classrooms, and clinics, with vision true,
Yet still we bear our forebears’ flame,
Their spirit lives within our name.
We honour the past, yet forward we tread,
With wisdom of old, and dreams ahead,
For being a Wani means to give and grow,
To lift our world, to let it show.
I am a Wani, a part of this tale,
Of merchants, of leaders, who did not fail,
And as I stand, with pride and might,
I carry our legacy into the light.
