I Am A Parrot Born To Fly
I Am A Parrot Born To Fly
My owner purchased me,
At a cost of thousand
Isolating me from my parents,
Hauling me towards an abandon's life!
I see my comrades,
Relishing the heaven in flight
Breathing in the purest air,
Enchanting themselves like an angel's life!
I chitter and chatter,
Alluring my owner's heart
And acquainting their guests,
With my brink of excellence!
But it's me who weep in desolation,
Being imprisoned beneath the iron bars
And squeal in rage
When I am a prisoner-
Of that dreadful cage!
It's my inner voice,
Which will rise for eternity
Till I am a convict,
That-
"I am a Parrot born to Fly,
Oh my, Almighty,
Merci on me! Merci on me!
