Humility

Humility

In the realm where virtue dwells,

A trait that truly compels,

There rests a gem of rarest worth,

A quality that embraces the earth.

Humility, with gentle grace,

A radiant smile upon its face,

It bows with reverence, so serene,

A virtue that forever gleams.

Like a humble flower, it bends low,

In the garden of life, it begins to grow,

Not claiming greatness, nor seeking praise,

It humbly walks through life's maze.

It is the absence of arrogant pride,

A tranquil river, flowing wide,

It listens with an open heart,

And knows its role, a vital part.

In the presence of others, it takes a seat,

Acknowledging worth in every beat,

It lifts the fallen, consoles the weak,

Embracing all, the strong and meek.

It speaks not of its own success,

But uplifts others in their distress,

For in humility, it finds its might,

A beacon of warmth in the darkest night.

It learns from failures, accepts mistakes,

Finds wisdom in all paths it takes,

For in humility's gentle embrace,

Life's lessons reveal their grace.

It stands in awe of nature's grand design,

In every moment, a treasure to find,

For the humble heart, a world unfolds,

A tapestry of wonders, untold.

Oh, humility, a virtue so rare,

A gentle whisper in the air,

May we embrace your gentle call,

And in your presence, stand tall.

For in humility, we find our true worth,

A light that shines from humble birth,

So let us walk with heads held low,

And let the seeds of humility grow.
