Hour Glass
Hour Glass
In an hourglass, time slips away,
Grains of sand, in constant sway,
A never-ending cycle, it seems to be,
A reminder of life's fragility.
The top half, filled with sand,
Slowly trickles, through the land,
Each grain, a precious moment in time,
A memory, forever etched in our minds.
The bottom half, empty and bare,
A reminder, that time is rare,
We must cherish each passing day,
Before it too, slips away.
The hourglass, a symbol of life,
A reminder, to embrace the strife,
To live each moment, with purpose and grace,
And never let time, go to waste.
