Her last wish

I sank and almost

got lost in the past

the mother was laid on the floor

the loud cry was heard too far doors

 

She had breathed her last

I heard her fast breathing first

she wanted to say something

"Come near, she gestured with pain

 

be brave 

and behave

nicely with others

she had feared I won't

 

I will

I tried to stall

the dropping tears

and slid near

 

look, I am leaving you behind

be always kind

to elders and youngers

without showing any anger

 

her words were cutting my heart

she was before my eyes and parting

I couldn't bear more pain

and remained motionless

 

next moment, she was gone

leaving behind beautiful earth and heaven

I was to breathe and move further
